I took a trip to the Outer Banks in North Carolina for the first time. I've always wondered why so many people
sport those "OBX" stickers on their vehicles. After going there, I understand now. The beaches are beautiful and
most allow vehicles on them. The sand can be loose & deep in some places and definately requires 4 wheel drive.
One couple I ran into in a 2wd Hyndai Santa Fe found that out the hard way.
